Watchful Works

  ““ And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God .” Revelation 3 : 1 - 2 NKJV The difference between the dead and living works in all human engagements is the inspiration by the Spirit of the living God. Unfortunately, it takes a slight interaction with the styles, standards, and systems of the world before corruption and compromise begin to bring condemnation of believers before our righteous Judge. To always be watchful is simply to live for WATCH: that is to watch our (1) words, (2) actions, (3) tongues, (4) characters, and (5) habits always in the mirror of God’s words, attributes, testimonies, charisma, and holiness. Sure Shield

  “ Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar. ” Proverbs 30 : 5 - 6 NKJV Not everyone found a liar in our system, society, and sacred places today is a practicing liar. Many people are unfortunately found liars on the basis of their lack of trust in God. From times immemorial, the primary purpose of extra-scriptural revelations, social-economic realities, and our ultra-wired realizations is the invalidation of the word of God. More often than not, God will readily allow believers to walk through the wilderness, face the fiery and stormy complications, and wait wastefully in the waters to prove those would endure the temptation of adding to His words. Unfortunately, while believers put on unnecessary emphasis on their safety and sustenance within the roller coaster of troubles and pains, they ignore the surety and sufficiency of the word of God.
