Triumphant Troubles

  ““ Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him .” Psalms 91 : 14 - 15 NKJV The difference between David and Solomon is synonymous to the comparison between triumphant troubles and troubling trophies. Not many people can escape the passivism in troubles and the consequences of its distraction from the reality of God’s presence. Instead of setting our love in God as the reality of dwelling in the secret place of the Most High, we are readily distracted by setting our hate on troubles and their agents. Whereas, the sincere qualification of the troubles before those who love the Lord and set their affections on Him is the dominant presence of God.
