While man thinks about physical occupation when it comes to dwelling, God is only interested in the desire to retain His presence in man. Therefore, God will either take 100% of us or reject 99% of us. Unfortunately, man sees more of competition when it comes to cultivating the presence of God, rather than companionship. And by dedicating the new temple to God, Solomon provided clarification on the concept of divine dwelling with a rhetorical question “ But will God indeed dwell with men on the earth? ”.
