Favoured Foundation

 “Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face. Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance.” Psalms 89:14-15 NKJV

One of the best ways of sustaining the memory of a relationship is the establishment of a foundation. Even with memory screwed by unfruitfulness and injustice, people nowadays have developed the penchant for deception by violating the scriptural injunction “If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do?” (Psalms 11:3). Notwithstanding, the foundation that is truly free from deception and manipulation has a self-sustaining legacy. It is the one favoured by the Almighty God for righteousness and justice. When the heart of man is blessed by God’s righteousness at Christ’s expense, it becomes a pleasant source of goodness, mercy, and truth to people within its sphere of influence. Unfortunately, besides Christ the solid Rock, there is no other way through human efforts, philanthropy and generosity that anyone can build a favoured foundation, free of manipulation, injustice and unrighteousness.

Peaceful Pathway

  “ Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all. ” II Thessalonians 3 : 16 NKJV Truth be told, the pursuit of righteousness is simply and straightforwardly the following of the right pathway, not necessarily the safe, the polite, and the popular pathway. Little wonder Martin Luther King once said, ‘On some positions, Cowardice asks the question, “ Is it safe?” Expediency asks the question, “ Is it polite?” And Vanity comes along and asks the question, “ Is it popular? ” But Conscience asks the question, “ Is it right? ”’. Wrangled Way

  “ Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways. ” Psalms 119 : 1 - 3 NKJV There is no doubt that those who abuse the grace of God have little or no understanding of the concept of the narrow way. For  “ Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it ” ( Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭14‬).  The narrow way cannot be widened because it is not only strait , it is extremely wrangled.
