Spirit Spread

 “Then the word of God spread, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith.” Acts 6:7 NKJV

The reality in life is that the spirit spread and stone spread are almost the two sides of the same coin; but mostly treated by men as isolated events. For Stephen, the spirit-inspired spreading of the word of God  invoked the throwing of stones and persecution from the synagogue of the freedmen. And although the eventual stone spread resulted in the martyrdom of Stephen, the word of God continued to spread exponentially with increasing spreading of stones in the early church. Even today, and over the past 2,000 years after the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the persecuted saints in the 10/40 windows are still responsible for spreading the greatest and widest gospel of salvation across the globe. It is readily established that when believers graciously allow all manners of stone spread in their family, career, professional, and ministerial engagements, then the spirit spread of the gospel message is enabled for a glorious expansion of the kingdom of God. The spirit spread is the dominance of the wise words of God in every believer’s heart, life and business affairs; and the drowning of the wicked words of men.

Peaceful Pathway

  “ Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all. ” II Thessalonians 3 : 16 NKJV Truth be told, the pursuit of righteousness is simply and straightforwardly the following of the right pathway, not necessarily the safe, the polite, and the popular pathway. Little wonder Martin Luther King once said, ‘On some positions, Cowardice asks the question, “ Is it safe?” Expediency asks the question, “ Is it polite?” And Vanity comes along and asks the question, “ Is it popular? ” But Conscience asks the question, “ Is it right? ”’. Wrangled Way

  “ Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways. ” Psalms 119 : 1 - 3 NKJV There is no doubt that those who abuse the grace of God have little or no understanding of the concept of the narrow way. For  “ Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it ” ( Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭14‬).  The narrow way cannot be widened because it is not only strait , it is extremely wrangled.
