Royal Reign

The royal daughter is all glorious within the palace; Her clothing is woven with gold. She shall be brought to the King in robes of many colors; The virgins, her companions who follow her, shall be brought to You.” Psalms 45:13-14 NKJV

Considering the misconception about royalty among the kings, politicians, and the rich folks in our world, it is important to always underscore that royalty is rather arrayed with righteousness instead of being expressed with rebellion. A lifestyle shrouded with licentiousness, disobedience to the divine counsels, and a disregard for the authority and sovereignty of the King of kings and the Lord of lords is nothing more a rebellious reign. By comparing the reign between the beggar Lazarus and the rich man in the story of Jesus about the concept of royalty, only the privilege of an hindsight can support the right concept of royalty explained by the scriptural revelation that “So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried (Luke 16:22)”. Therefore, when the scriptural digest for the day says “The royal daughter is all glorious within the palace“, it implies that righteousness through all of every believer’s engagements is not just the most desirable lifestyle; it is an unconquerable show of royalty in our unruly world. And just as beggar Lazarus’ legacy has been untarnished even after his life on earth, a royalty in righteousness has sustained followers and companions as fruits for its reign.
