Fresh Fruits

and He said to them, “Go into the village opposite you; and as soon as you have entered it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has sat. Loose it and bring it. And if anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord has need of it,’ and immediately he will send it here.”” Mark 11:2-3

Beyond the usefulness of the colt tied for Jesus’ triumphant ride to Jerusalem, freshness and fruitfulness in life and ministry are related to the relevance of being regularly tied up for cleanliness and currency before God. Life’s activities and associations are full of loads and garbage, requiring constant reset in God’s presence for purging. “Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work (II Timothy 2:21)” remains God’s verdict for believers today. Today is the beginning of a new day, new week, and new worship in God’s presence; and there is the possibility of being found fully tied up for the pure impact of God. Heaven is always in search of fresh fruits; and only those who are tied up or reserved can be set loosed and bought to God’s presence for progressive partnership.
