Perfect Path

But the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is like darkness; They do not know what makes them stumble.” Proverbs 4:18-19 NKJV

Everyone knows the metrics for a perfect day, but the path to this perfection is always the challenge. Perfect career, partner, and residency are more often a dream than reality. Like Moses, experience will usually support the fact that ‘nothing is perfect!’. Before he accepted God’s will and way as the leader of the Israelites out of the land of Egypt as the perfect path, he struggled with the failure of his previous personal attempt to lead outside the will and way of God. And for those who struggled today with the concept of PERFECT path, it is important to note the path through the litmus of (1) peace - it brings peace and contentment into the heart, no matter the situation and circumstance; (2) experience - it offer the privilege of knowing God more intimately and His purpose for living; (3) righteousness - it presents the opportunity to live holy and discourages wicked ways; (4) fruitfulness - it is always progressive, no matter the challenge; (5) excellence - it turns challenges into opportunities for great accomplishment; (6) character - it shows the true virtues and value of its followers; and (7) truth - it encourages transparency and honesty. Unfortunately, those who stumble along their chosen careers, partnerships, and residency will always attest to their struggle with absolute submission to God’s will and way.
