Courageous Confidence

 “For You will light my lamp; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall.” Psalms 18:28-29 NKJV

Confidence in social media influencers is presently a thing in today’s world. Hype, music, fashion, and even entertainment can pull crowds; but most of these crowds are readily dispersed at the end of the season of celebration. In difficult times and seasons of affliction or the challenges of darkness, only courage can sustain a worthwhile confidence. Besides the Lord Jesus Christ, no leader of influence on earth is qualified to secure and sustain the confidence of his fellow human being perpetually. For example, the confidence of the psalmist in the Lord can be seen to earn him the courage to run against a troop of Philistines and leap over a wall in front of the ravaging Saul. Therefore, it is understandable why those whose confidence is in man are cowards. Whereas, even after 2,000 years of Christ’s influence on His disciples, the seed of His courageous confidence is still driving the influence of million disciples across the world. Anyone can bend and fall in front of superior power and higher strength, but those who trust absolutely and courageously in God alone shall readily stand against a wall without being pinned down and dead.

Peaceful Pathway

The Lord be with you all. ” II Thessalonians 3 : 16 NKJV Truth be told, the pursuit of righteousness is simply and straightforwardly the following of the right pathway, not necessarily the safe, the polite, and the popular pathway. Little wonder Martin Luther King once said, ‘On some positions, Cowardice asks the question, “ Is it safe?” Expediency asks the question, “ Is it polite?” And Vanity comes along and asks the question, “ Is it popular? ” But Conscience asks the question, “ Is it right? ”’. Wrangled Way

  “ Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways. ” Psalms 119 : 1 - 3 NKJV There is no doubt that those who abuse the grace of God have little or no understanding of the concept of the narrow way. For  “ Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it ” ( Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭14‬).  The narrow way cannot be widened because it is not only strait , it is extremely wrangled.
