Wondrous Words
““Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.” Matthew 7:24-25 NKJV
Yesterday’s visit to the Kennedy Space Center was definitely more than a side attraction. Beyond the amazing revelations of the beauty of exploration touring through the Space Shuttle Atlantis, Heroes & Legends, IMAX, and the Universe Theatre, the simulation experience at the Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex offered a glimpse into the unforgettable wonders of God, the intelligent designer of the universe. Little wonder one of the visitors during our session at the Universe Theatre’s astronaut encounter with the veteran Julie Payette was forced to ask ‘are there evidence of aliens during the astronaut’s space mission experiences?’, and ‘are these wonders created or just evolved by themselves?’. Well above these encounters, the scriptures has the best answers: 1. God created human beings last (and not aliens) on earth by His wondrous words; and 2. God created the universe and everything in it as well by His wondrous words. It implies everyone and everything created or promised by the wondrous words of the Lord stand created, and unshaken by the created. Obviously, only a wise man will build his life’s pursuits on the revealed counsels and the wondrous words of God; while foolish folks are readily deceived to trust in wasted words.
