Holistic Help

 “Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; The snare is broken, and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.” Psalms 124:7-8 NKJV

Hunting helps often do not readily set out for hurt; but rather the promotion of a selective offering of help to detractors. Unfortunately, by setting snares, the hunting helps from the fowlers are dragged into a hurtful mission for damage control and coverups. For example, king Saul was engaged into the dragnet of ‘hunting helps’ to preserve the royal lineage for Jonathan and his household, at the expense of David - the Lord’s anointed. And like the psalmist, when the righteous people of God fall into the dragnet or the snare of the fowlers, their faith in God as the only custodian of holistic help is usually challenged. Whereas, the ‘hunting helps’ are limited in scope, space, and seasons, compared to the holistic help from the maker of heaven and earth. Even when it appears the ‘hunting helps’ are thriving in their micro spaces with hurtful adventures, these unpleasant experiences and negative circumstances are eventually subsumed within the holistic help of our sovereign God. When the righteous is privileged to rest in the holistic help of the maker of heaven and earth, all the ‘hunting helps’ from adversaries are calmly channeled into the networks of God’s holistic help.

Peaceful Pathway

The Lord be with you all. ” II Thessalonians 3 : 16 NKJV Truth be told, the pursuit of righteousness is simply and straightforwardly the following of the right pathway, not necessarily the safe, the polite, and the popular pathway. Wrangled Way

  “ Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways. ” Psalms 119 : 1 - 3 NKJV There is no doubt that those who abuse the grace of God have little or no understanding of the concept of the narrow way. For  “ Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it ” ( Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭14‬).  The narrow way cannot be widened because it is not only strait , it is extremely wrangled.
