True Trust

 ”He has put a new song in my mouth— Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the Lord. Blessed is that man who makes the Lord his trust, And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.“ ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭40‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

There is a common denominator in loyalty and trust. They both attract follower-ship. While loyalty is driven by the achievements of celebrities, irrespective of the quality or the source of their achievement, trust is driven by convincing evidence of honesty and integrity. Particularly, and as evident in the follower-ship of Jesus Christ, true trust begets trust. And as widely reported, of all the people who have ever lived, Jesus Christ has the highest number of followers. Whereas, loyalty to follower-ship will falter in the face of challenges and the season of difficulty. Little wonder, mistrust in the family, workplace relationships, and social circles feeds on dishonesty, fear, and lies, regardless of any previous hype in attraction and follower-ship. Therefore, those who must truly follow Jesus Christ are prepared to be a sacrifice and a proven evidence of the faithfulness of the Lord. True trust is better practiced than preached; it is the evidence of following Jesus on the basis of His faithfulness, no matter how long it takes or its fainting tendencies.

Peaceful Pathway

The Lord be with you all. ” II Thessalonians 3 : 16 NKJV Truth be told, the pursuit of righteousness is simply and straightforwardly the following of the right pathway, not necessarily the safe, the polite, and the popular pathway. Little wonder Martin Luther King once said, ‘On some positions, Cowardice asks the question, “ Is it safe?” Expediency asks the question, “ Is it polite?” And Vanity comes along and asks the question, “ Is it popular? ” But Conscience asks the question, “ Is it right? ”’. Unfortunately, finding the right pathway is not up to philosophers, psychologists, and politicians in our world, to whom there is no such thing as absolute truth. Wrangled Way

  “ Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways. ” Psalms 119 : 1 - 3 NKJV There is no doubt that those who abuse the grace of God have little or no understanding of the concept of the narrow way. For  “ Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it ” ( Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭14‬).  The narrow way cannot be widened because it is not only strait , it is extremely wrangled.
