Deliberate Declaration

I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, And on Your wondrous works. Men shall speak of the might of Your awesome acts, And I will declare Your greatness.“ ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭145‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The power of human declarations in life is always limited by the strength of their meditation. Those who are intimidated by the powers of the principalities around them have a tenable reason for their reactions: they meditate only on the threats of these principalities. But when the psalmist said ”I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, And on Your wondrous works”, it must be an exercise of a deliberate decision of a courageous mind against the threats of the prevailing principalities. That was the only reason why a seemingly small David could defeat the giant Goliath. Unfortunately, believers today like and prefer the unthreatened and empty declarations of God’s wondrous works for just feel-good sakes. Whereas, the real declarations of all faithless men are the worship of the powers of principalities over the potency of the mighty God. However, those whose lives and actions will meditatively declare the wondrous works of God must be deliberate with their conviction about the greatness of God: being greater than the greatest, always.
