Head Hemorrhage

“But God will wound the head of His enemies, The hairy scalp of the one who still goes on in his trespasses. The Lord said, “I will bring back from Bashan, I will bring them back from the depths of the sea, That your foot may crush them in blood, And the tongues of your dogs may have their portion from your enemies.”” Psalms‬ ‭68‬:‭21‬-‭23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

There is no doubt that every expression of fear for the enemies represents the embrace of faithlessness in God, especially from those who claim their refuge and faith in God. For example, when the rage of the enemies lasts for so long, “But God will wound the head of His enemies“ is easily interchanged with “Now I shall perish someday by the hand of Saul”. Unfortunately, in times of despair and disappointment, believers often forget to remember why God always goes for the head of His enemies. Faith in God’s strategy of head hemorrhaging lives no fear for the enemies in the hearts of believers. The only worthwhile fear in life is the fear of God and a deliberate decision to avoid being listed as one of the enemies of the just Judge. Therefore, no matter the depth and fierceness of the enemies’ activities, true believers should always know the combination of head hemorrhage for the enemies and “I will bring back from Bashan” for the righteous is an undeniable victory at the end.
