Victor’s Voice

“The voice of the Lord is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The Lord is over many waters.” Psalms‬ ‭29‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” is a familiar expression of fear from all of Christ’s disciples whenever the voices of the waters rage. Particularly, when the voice of the Lord had promised a crossover to the other side for advancement of divine assignment, productive engagement, new dawn of glory, and the manifestation of the glory of God in the lives of the people, the enemies would bring the roaring of the voices of the waters, storms, manipulation and opposition. Then, fear often takes control; and faith in the God of glory will take the backseat. After all, “where is the Master when all these calamities are befallen the righteous?” is always the loudest reasoning in times like this. But with just a little faith in God comes this amazing understanding and relieving belief “The voice of the Lord is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The Lord is over many waters”. No matter the level and scale of this life’s challenges, Victor's voice still brings the needed peace, quietness, and rest. When you can pray with faith in the victor’s voice, the Lord’s admonition still stands “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?”.
