Righteous Rejoicing

Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness And of Your praise all the day long” Psalms‬ ‭35‬:‭27‬-‭28‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

A prayer for a righteous rejoicing of the people over the life experience of the psalmist confirmed the reality of temporal moments for rejoicing over deceitful devising and wicked winking. These are the days when the righteous often ask the Lord ‘Why holding on while the heathen rage and wicked people imagine vain things?’. Whereas, these people are the same target that heaven is preparing for righteous rejoicing. Therefore, like all of God’s battle axes and weapons of war, the righteous are expected to be fully released as instruments to herald the gospel of repentance and redemption. More often than not, gospel heralds are more effective by sharing experiences from the trenches, while savoring the experience at the throne in the end. And whenever the righteous is fully released to reveal the righteous cause of the Lord, his righteous prayer is answered for all to shout for joy and be glad, saying “Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant”. Better than the self-centered focus of rightful rejoicing, righteous rejoicing is focussed on preparing all of God’s people through repentance for a continuous proclamation of God’s righteousness and the praise of His name for all eternity.
