Partner’s Paths

 “Now therefore, listen to me, my children; Pay attention to the words of my mouth: Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways, Do not stray into her paths” Proverbs‬ ‭7‬:‭24‬-‭25‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Friendship and relationships are easily attracted by the status of profiles; but the consuming portions are dictated by the adopted paths in the relationships. Unrighteous path lead all its travellers into nothing less than destruction. Notwithstanding, in today’s world of social engagement and inclusiveness, straying into diverse paths happens easily, and mostly without of a partner's consent. Even family and fellowship members, with shared cultural and doctrinal values, are not spared from the corrupt influence of our ever-changing pressure and performance-driven world. The salient admonition is clear. Even if you cannot choose the profiles of your partners, pay attention to their paths; and take responsibility for your choice of portion. And if everyone can sincerely pay attention to the words of the Lord, he can easily scan the invited paths of his partners in life. Unfortunately, when the unrighteous paths promise portions with fat riches, quick wealth, and elevated privileges, the hearts of unstable believers are easily swept aside by these wicked ways. Whereas, pure partners and wayfaring pilgrims adopt only righteous paths; and they are fully satisfied by the promised peace as their portions.

Peaceful Pathway

  “ Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all. ” II Thessalonians 3 : 16 NKJV Truth be told, the pursuit of righteousness is simply and straightforwardly the following of the right pathway, not necessarily the safe, the polite, and the popular pathway. Little wonder Martin Luther King once said, ‘On some positions, Cowardice asks the question, “ Is it safe?” Expediency asks the question, “ Is it polite?” And Vanity comes along and asks the question, “ Is it popular? ” But Conscience asks the question, “ Is it right? ”’. Wrangled Way

  “ Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways. ” Psalms 119 : 1 - 3 NKJV There is no doubt that those who abuse the grace of God have little or no understanding of the concept of the narrow way. For  “ Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it ” ( Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭14‬).  The narrow way cannot be widened because it is not only strait , it is extremely wrangled.
