Cheap Cheat

 “Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.” ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Philosophers are no idle jobbers, but great thinkers and people who have dedicated their intellectual abilities into providing solutions to irrational behaviours. But while the world is blessed with some philosophers who leaned on the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, many philosophers are knowingly or unknowingly inspired by the great deceiver, the Devil. And like it was from the beginning at the garden of Eden, the deceiver has no business with people with no birthright to give away. Adam and Even or the human race gave up their dominion at the garden of Eden to get the philosophy of good and bad. Unfortunately, it is always a cheap cheat or empty deceit on someone who gave away what he cannot lose to get what he cannot keep. Even today, many who have claimed redemption are still trading with philosophies, based on the tradition of men, liberty organizations, pressure groups, and religious ideologies, at the expense of an absolute submission to the revealed will of God. Whereas, in Christ alone lies the treasures of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of believers’ essence of existence for now and in eternity.

Peaceful Pathway

  “ Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all. ” II Thessalonians 3 : 16 NKJV Truth be told, the pursuit of righteousness is simply and straightforwardly the following of the right pathway, not necessarily the safe, the polite, and the popular pathway. Little wonder Martin Luther King once said, ‘On some positions, Cowardice asks the question, “ Is it safe?” Expediency asks the question, “ Is it polite?” And Vanity comes along and asks the question, “ Is it popular? ” But Conscience asks the question, “ Is it right? ”’. Wrangled Way

  “ Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways. ” Psalms 119 : 1 - 3 NKJV There is no doubt that those who abuse the grace of God have little or no understanding of the concept of the narrow way. For  “ Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it ” ( Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭14‬).  The narrow way cannot be widened because it is not only strait , it is extremely wrangled.
