Wise Waiting

“And some of those of understanding shall fall, to refine them, purify them, and make them white, until the time of the end; because it is still for the appointed time.” ‭‭Daniel‬ ‭11:35‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The revelation of future events to Daniel shows the relevance of time of the end and the appointed time for designated programmes and processes in life. Besides the agony of the general ignorance concerning the progression of events in our days, waiting for the fulfillment of God’s promises appears to no longer be a virtue for those who even claim the understanding of His little revelation. Whereas, there is still wisdom in waiting upon the Lord and His promises, irrespective of the barrage of evil smartness in our fast-paced world. Although the  fall agenda in the waiting season can be scheduled for an isolated workshop, it is mostly permitted strategically for productive reworking, refining, and repackaging. When Joseph and Job fell into the waiting room of the pit, prison, and peril, little did their scoffers know that it was meant to perfect their promotion to the throne and a more lofty relevance. Unfortunately, it would be a double tragedy for anyone to fall into the waiting room for complaints, bitterness, and malice; while God’s purpose for productive engagements are jettisoned. Those who know and understand their God do wait wisely upon Him for strength to do the assigned exploits at His appointed time.
