Sustainable Salvation

 “Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.”

Without the understanding of the power of grace, the salvation experience becomes redundant and a mere resemblance of a call to a new lifestyle of dutiful relationship with God. Little wonder many religious people do struggle to convince the unbelievers about the import of the salvation message, being mostly deficient when measured on the scale of morality. Fortunately, everything changed supernaturally and instantaneously the moment a soul has a genuine encounter with the grace of God. When the scriptures affirmed that old things are passed away, it truly emphasized that all things immediately become new. Unfortunately, many people do think of salvation as just a time-marked pilgrimage journey, where the soul is licensed to return to its normal lifestyle after a celebrated trip to the altar. Whereas, a true salvation experience is simply unending grace, powered by faith in the atoning blood of the Lamb of God and sustained by faith in the living Son of God.

Peaceful Pathway

  “ Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all. ” II Thessalonians 3 : 16 NKJV Truth be told, the pursuit of righteousness is simply and straightforwardly the following of the right pathway, not necessarily the safe, the polite, and the popular pathway. Little wonder Martin Luther King once said, ‘On some positions, Cowardice asks the question, “ Is it safe?” Expediency asks the question, “ Is it polite?” And Vanity comes along and asks the question, “ Is it popular? ” But Conscience asks the question, “ Is it right? ”’. Wrangled Way

  “ Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways. ” Psalms 119 : 1 - 3 NKJV There is no doubt that those who abuse the grace of God have little or no understanding of the concept of the narrow way. For  “ Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it ” ( Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭14‬).  The narrow way cannot be widened because it is not only strait , it is extremely wrangled.
