Fruitful Focus

 “The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.”

What concerns a man can readily be assessed by his social, family, emotional, health, and career life. When any of these aspects of life becomes challenged, it will not be difficult for any man to get the perfect report card that reflects imperfection. Therefore, the primary focus of a serious man in life is the fixing of his imperfections, through either the seeking of support from fellow man or the knocking on heavenly portal for divine intervention. However, when the Psalmist preferred to seek the LORD, he opted to expose his ignorance of the things that concerns him or the imperfections in his life. Sincerely, in everything that concerns a man in life, he is ignorant of the perfect diagnosis of the imperfections. And when God is busy fixing up the man within, the man is impatiently crying for the fixing of stuff without. Therefore, in spite of the imperfections in our lives, the fruitful focus remains the heart of every man as the centre of God’s work area: “Do not forsake the works of Your hands”.

Peaceful Pathway

  “ Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all. ” II Thessalonians 3 : 16 NKJV Truth be told, the pursuit of righteousness is simply and straightforwardly the following of the right pathway, not necessarily the safe, the polite, and the popular pathway. Little wonder Martin Luther King once said, ‘On some positions, Cowardice asks the question, “ Is it safe?” Expediency asks the question, “ Is it polite?” And Vanity comes along and asks the question, “ Is it popular? ” But Conscience asks the question, “ Is it right? ”’. Wrangled Way

  “ Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways. ” Psalms 119 : 1 - 3 NKJV There is no doubt that those who abuse the grace of God have little or no understanding of the concept of the narrow way. For  “ Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it ” ( Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭14‬).  The narrow way cannot be widened because it is not only strait , it is extremely wrangled.
