Night Numb

 “When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.”

Activities in the day and entertainment in the night are common routines when life appears good and everything is going on as planned. Unfortunately, these routines often do not always encourage productive meditation. Concentration on well-planned out activities for the day and relaxation with entertainment in the night does feels great in the eyes of a self-made man. Although the challenges of life are generally unacceptable, they provide a better perspective of authentic night watches. And it is difficult to challenge the fact that problems often draw the heart closer to God than prosperity. Therefore, even when the day’s activities are lining up as good, wise hearts will often prefer the option of inviting godly meditation in night watches than indulging in ungodly entertainment as night splash.

Peaceful Pathway

  “ Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all. ” II Thessalonians 3 : 16 NKJV Truth be told, the pursuit of righteousness is simply and straightforwardly the following of the right pathway, not necessarily the safe, the polite, and the popular pathway. Little wonder Martin Luther King once said, ‘On some positions, Cowardice asks the question, “ Is it safe?” Expediency asks the question, “ Is it polite?” And Vanity comes along and asks the question, “ Is it popular? ” But Conscience asks the question, “ Is it right? ”’. Wrangled Way

  “ Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways. ” Psalms 119 : 1 - 3 NKJV There is no doubt that those who abuse the grace of God have little or no understanding of the concept of the narrow way. For  “ Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it ” ( Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭14‬).  The narrow way cannot be widened because it is not only strait , it is extremely wrangled.
