Reliable Resource

“So you shall speak to all who are gifted artisans, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron’s garments, to consecrate him, that he may minister to Me as priest.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭28:3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

If productivity and effective service offerings in life depend entirely on responsibility, the acquisition of the necessary skills for all works will be all that is needed. But in the making of the special officiating garments for priest Aaron and his sons as associate ministers, God presented the need for the spirit of wisdom and the special attention to details. Otherwise, the priests would have failed the consecration test, and being unable to minister before the Lord. It is noteworthy that the possession of the spirit of wisdom sits at the middle of the acquisition of the necessary skills for work and the special attention to details. However, there are different responsibilities and service offerings at our homes, workplaces and fellowship that attract quick service delivery with little or no emphasis on the need for the spirit of wisdom. Even when these services appear to start with reliance on divine inspiration, their carnal dependency are easily reflected in the apt for the promotion of self rather than the glory of God. Where God’s  purpose for a new project initiative is not relevant, reliance on His divine inspiration for implementation will not be necessary. Whereas, we are not reliable resource because of our gifted gifts; the inspiration of God or the spirit of wisdom is the source of believers’ relevance in life.
