Wholesome Writ
“Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”
Luke 24:46-47 NKJV

Focused on the difficult seasons of life is a proven distraction from the wholesome picture of divine purpose for existence. Notwithstanding, it is difficult to see the bigger picture without the inspiration of God. It took the assistance of the resurrected Christ to open the eyes of the disciples to the scriptures from the plague of the setbacks initiated by the arrest, crucifixion and death of their ‘untouchable’ Master and Lord. Partial writ in believers’ family, career, and work life can be a perfect reflection of setbacks, suffering, sacrifices, and sorrows. But it is not wisdom for anyone with a purpose-driven mindset to take long-standing decisions motivated by the need to circumvent the prevailing circumstances of life. And with divine intervention, the disciples were able to see the temporary setbacks from Pilate’s Calvary as a transitional setup for the Pentecostal Charisma. In every situation and circumstantial turnout of events in believers’ affairs, God has a glorious plan and purpose in mind; but it will be opened to those who dare to wait on Him.
