Gracious Gentleness

“This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.” ‭‭Titus‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ https://bible.com/114/tit.3.8.nkjv
Effective management of goods and services requires just a straight honesty, especially when the dynamics of human resources are not included. However, maintenance of good works within the service involving human relationships requires caution and great care. Apostle Paul appears to be drawing the attention of Bishop Titus to the importance of gracious gentleness as a necessary prerequisite to profitable service. Frustrations as a result of failed expectations from human actions and inaction are bound to draw the strange line against cordiality in human relationships. Oftentimes, experiences of our disappointments with parties at home, fellowship and workplaces lead to an extension of our disbelief in the promises of God. Therefore, the scriptures admonished “that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works”. Whereas, even in all unpleasantness of human relationships, God still speak peace and expect His children to exhibit peaceable disposition.
