Greater Grace

“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:13-14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ http://bible.com/114/gal.3.13-14.nkjv
One of the amazing privilege of grace is the access to the presence of the Lord. After starting the day on my knees in Schipol, one of the Airport staff approached me with a question “Are you okay?”. With the freshness of the spirit and a smile on the face, I asked “Why do you ask if I am okay?” Sensing his unpreparedness to answered straight, I added, “I guess because you saw me knelt down...I was praying”. Then, “Did you also pray?”. Those who truly pray understands the amazing opportunity to engage the King of kings and the Lord of lords on all matters of life, especially at the start of each day and when bothered by the loads and care of the consequences of imperfections in life. It is a passport bought by grace - God’s Righteousness at Christ’ Expense. Believers are stamped with the visa of justification and an express access to the throne of God. And for those who have ever wondered how great was the mess in their yesterday, the possible mercy in God’s grace today is amazingly greater.
