Separation Strategy

“Now therefore, do not give your daughters as wives for their sons, nor take their daughters to your sons; and never seek their peace or prosperity, that you may be strong and eat the good of the land, and leave it as an inheritance to your children forever.” ‭‭Ezra‬ ‭9:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ http://bible.us/114/ezr.9.12.nkjv
Engaging in a friendly match with an opponent who has nothing to gain attracts something to lose. Ezra solemnly reflected on God’s strategy of separation from the culture and custom of idolatry, which had resulted in incurable catastrophes to the children of ISRAEL. While the dimension of corruption to godly heritage in our world today is greater than the problem of unequal yoke in marriage, the biblical strategy of separation remains sacrosanct: never seek their peace or prosperity, that you may be strong and eat the good of the land. Evil agents invade homes, workplaces, and social lives of believers with carrots of peace and prosperity. Unfortunately, the proceeds from these unholy relationships and corruption get celebrated, even in careless holy assemblies. Whereas, the grace of God has offered all that a man’s life has to gain. Any offer from this world’s engagements that risk the grace of God is an unholy friendly match. It is better to always draw lessons from those have attempted unholy friendly match in order to remain committed to God’s separation strategy.

Peaceful Pathway

Wrangled Way

  “ Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways. ” Psalms 119 : 1 - 3 NKJV There is no doubt that those who abuse the grace of God have little or no understanding of the concept of the narrow way. For  “ Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it ” ( Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭14‬).  The narrow way cannot be widened because it is not only strait , it is extremely wrangled.
