Fresh Feast

“And they kept the Feast of Unleavened Bread seven days with joy; for the LORD made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria toward them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.” ‭‭Ezra‬ ‭6:22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ http://bible.com/114/ezr.6.22.nkjv
When the sacrifices of sincere seekers align with the spirit of the sovereign Saviour in every sanctuary at home and the places of worship, there is no doubt the impact of the Spirit’s freshness on the heart of man. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is always freedom, freshness, and fullness of grace and the glory of the Lord. Unfortunately, life outside the spirit-inspired sanctuary, either in the workplaces or in the general society, is full of challenges that threatens the freshness of the Spirit. After the dedication of the rebuilt temple of God, the returning Jews resuscitated the various feasts (Passover, Unleavened bread, etc) with the joy of the Lord. However, God also ensured that their necessary interactions outside the sanctuary were influenced by Him: “and turned the heart of the king of Assyria toward them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.” It implies that except all interactions at the banking halls, marketplaces, board meetings, online forums, etc, are inspired by the grace of God, it is obvious that experiencing the flavour of spiritual freshness outside the sanctuary will be strange phenomenal. When the righteous is sober and vigilant in the field of life’s engagements, God is able to constrain all interactions with the world in the path of righteousness and fruitfulness.
