Great Gladness

“So the whole assembly of those who had returned from the captivity made booths and sat under the booths; for since the days of Joshua the son of Nun until that day the children of Israel had not done so. The search for the secret of great joy and contentment has been one of the most discouraging adventures for honest seekers in life. The Preacher, who was blessed greatly with wisdom, wealth, and weight, had once shared his frustration in the search for the vanity of human existence. Unfortunately, many observers often ignore the conclusion of Solomon’s miserable exploration of the essence of life. After a subscription to the wilderness wisdom by the returning Jews from captivity, there was a delivery of fresh passion for the searching the word of God as the essence of life, and a discovery of the secret for great joy and contentment. Even when they made booths and sat under the booths, they had the unbelievable experience of great gladness that has ever eluded them in their mansions of precious stones. Thereafter, it was no longer a secret that great gladness in life is truly accessed by humble seekers of the knowledge in God’s words and the doing of His great pleasures.

Peaceful Pathway

  “ Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all. ” II Thessalonians 3 : 16 NKJV Truth be told, the pursuit of righteousness is simply and straightforwardly the following of the right pathway, not necessarily the safe, the polite, and the popular pathway. Little wonder Martin Luther King once said, ‘On some positions, Cowardice asks the question, “ Is it safe?” Expediency asks the question, “ Is it polite?” And Vanity comes along and asks the question, “ Is it popular? ” But Conscience asks the question, “ Is it right? ”’. Wrangled Way

  “ Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways. ” Psalms 119 : 1 - 3 NKJV There is no doubt that those who abuse the grace of God have little or no understanding of the concept of the narrow way. For  “ Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it ” ( Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭14‬).  The narrow way cannot be widened because it is not only strait , it is extremely wrangled.
