Delightful Daystar
“Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying, “Have you not considered what these people have spoken, saying, ‘The two families which the LORD has chosen, He has also cast them off’? Thus they have despised My people, as if they should no more be a nation before them.”
Jeremiah 33:23-24 NKJV

Even before the understanding of one of the laws in physics which defines that “Earth's orbit is the trajectory along which Earth travels around the Sun, maintaining an average distance of about 150 million km, and where one complete orbit takes about 365 days, during which time Earth has traveled 940 million km”, God’s words declare that the activities of the Earth around the Sun is governed by His irrevocable covenant. No matter the thick darkness of the night (or some concerned manipulation of the daylight time saving, due to the prolonged night hours), nothing can prevent the eventual appearance of the daystar. In reference to the plights of God’s people and the unfortunate expectation of the people around, Judah and Jerusalem represents a delightful daystar. The people in the world of God’s delights can offer despisement and disappointment; but God says there is hope against every state of hopelessness in life. As long as the Lord delights in the activities of the righteous, his status and appearance as daystar are both unquestionable and undeniable.
