Profound Proclamation

“Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God. And who can proclaim as I do? Then let him declare it and set it in order for Me, Since I appointed the ancient people. And the things that are coming and shall come, Let them show these to them.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭44:6-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ http://bible.com/114/isa.44.6-7.nkjv
Orderliness in the creation of the world out of a complete mess and the redemption of man from his fallen state are sufficient evidence that the Almighty God is the only Redeemer. When He speaks, darkness changes to light, deep-seated mountains are removed, and the stormy sea is calmed. Although creativity and the knowledge of man now speak innovation and technological advancement, these developments are expected to compliment and not compete with God. Unfortunately, and even among the people who claim allegiance to the God of Israel, the work of their hands or their personal productivities are often respected as final authority in their family, work, social, and professional engagements. Little wonder why there appears no end to confusion, calamities, and chaos in promising affairs of life. Whereas, God declares ‘I am the First and I am the Last’. In every situation and any circumstance of life, God still speaks; and His proclamation is always profound, bringing peace to the storms of life.
