Foster Fathers

“Kings shall be your foster fathers, And their queens your nursing mothers; They shall bow down to you with their faces to the earth, And lick up the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am the LORD, For they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me.”” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭49:23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ http://bible.com/114/isa.49.23.nkjv
Waiting time normally represents the period of loneliness and loss, irrespective of the size and shape of the lost items including opportunity, property, position, relationships, etc. It is often said that when life is spared, there is hope for the restoration of most other lost items. Therefore, those who have experienced the loss of loved ones are more familiar with the symptoms of hopelessness. However, God declared the evidence of hope for the children of Zion, who shall not be ashamed to wait upon the Lord. To the fatherless, He is the Father. To the widow, God is the Husband. And to the hopeless, the Ancient of Days has got the trusted Helping Hands. Waiting time with the Lord is not a wasted time; it is a worthwhile moments of training and preparation for the palace. Unfortunately, many are tempted to mismanage their foster fathers; because they cannot see the worthwhile treasures in their waiting time.
