Father’s Favour

“Thus says the LORD who made you And formed you from the womb, who will help you: ‘Fear not, O Jacob My servant; And you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen. Real men are pretty honest with their inadequacies towards maintaining good relationships with fellow men, needless to mention the lack of confidence in their competence to stand before the Almighty God. Nevertheless, all men struggle with the concept of fairness when referencing the context of favour in life. The simple reality is that ‘Favour ain’t Fair’. Consequently, many often miss the Father’s Favour through the positioning of themselves in order to seek favour from men, rather than getting sorted out by God. As an epitome of God’s Favour, Jacob was chosen ahead of Esau. And in spite of his inadequacies, Israel still remained the delight of the Lord. Being called out as the spiritual Israel, believers in Christ are privileged to enjoy the same favour of God, irrespective of our past failures and disappointments. Definitely, the Father’s Favour ain’t fair; it does require faith in its sufficiency to satisfy the thirsty.

Peaceful Pathway

Wrangled Way

  “ Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways. ” Psalms 119 : 1 - 3 NKJV There is no doubt that those who abuse the grace of God have little or no understanding of the concept of the narrow way. For  “ Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it ” ( Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭14‬).  The narrow way cannot be widened because it is not only strait , it is extremely wrangled.
