Resident Redeemer

“...so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭17:27-28‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ http://bible.com/114/act.17.27-28.nkjv
The knowledge of God is not meant to be limited to human gravitation to worship, but the daily manifestation of God's divine ability in the affairs of man. Like the Areopaghites, the acknowledgment of the existence of God leads many to a daily worship of the 'Unknown God' - without a notable evidence of His influence in our everyday life. Whereas, God speaks daily through life's activities and experiences, more than or without man's appreciation of His abiding residency. The creation of an artificial God out of human devotion, activities and interest in life represents a notable idol and a distraction from the needed appreciation of the existence of the real God. The real God speaks life and inspiration into man's devotion and preoccupation, while the man-made God saps life and promotes insensitivity to divine abilities. As long as the heart of man is drafted to prefer a sole devotion to his personal vocation and creativity in life, it would be difficult to appreciate the true nature of God. The Almighty God is a resident Redeemer and the source of strength for man's real and productive life existence.
