King's Keg

“It is not for kings, O Lemuel, It is not for kings to drink wine, Nor for princes intoxicating drink” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭31:4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ http://bible.com/114/pro.31.4.nkjv
The words of prophecy from the mother of king Lemuel to her adorable son represents another amazing scriptural exposition on the preference of inspiration to intoxication. Stylishly, kings appear to be mandated to accept the service of wine on the account of palace protocol, rather than being motivated by personal preference. Likewise, positions and privileges in life expose man to certain written and unwritten ethics that often overwhelm his personal convictions on godliness. While the dividend from the determination of Daniel in Babylon teaches the benefit of preferring God's promises to the palace's portion, the fear of demotion, defamation, and derogation makes the likes of admonition from the mother of king Lemuel a hard call in today's social and work places. As a matter of fact, every call to duty without the inspiration of the Almighty has intoxicating tendencies. And it is better to be inspired as a king than to be intoxicated as a keg.
