Charitable Character

“A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, Loving favor rather than silver and gold.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭22:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ http://bible.com/114/pro.22.1.nkjv
"Good" remains a veritable attraction anywhere in the world. For example, a tourist is attracted to good selected cities or states, based on a collection of their historical attractions. He manages his short stay by exploring the best attractions of elegant creations, beautiful buildings, and attractive innovations. Meanwhile, these attractions represent mostly the end-products of past people's engagements, who believe in the quality of legacies left behind for generations yet unborn, rather than being motivated by the quantity of luxury accumulated in their lifetime. Therefore, the historical attractions to tourists are really not about the beautiful artifacts, but the history of the virtue endowed and the character extolled that makes the engraved stories. Likewise, no matter how beautiful a character spends his time, talent, and treasure in the building of life's best artifacts, an invisible edifice of the character is being engraved for posterity. Unfortunately, no earthly biographer can change a bad name to a good name, as long as God is the only author of a charitable character.
