Twisted Testimonies

Institutional loyalty often demands more than normal commitment to righteousness can offer. The concept of absolute truth becomes subject to the doctrine of relativity, where the desire for promotion, recognition, and prosperity represents the trade-off target. The Psalmist had to remind self of its absolute loyalty as the servant of the Lord, implying an expression of disloyalty to any contending master. There'll be no attraction to twist any statement of truth, when the heart is solely satisfied with the promises or precepts of God. His testimonies on the matters of life, family and ministries are often deeper than the expectations of surface relationship. Therefore, the understanding of God's purpose during apparent delay is sweeter than the excitement of twisted testimonies.
