Twisted Testimonies

http://bible.us/psa119.125.nkjv I am Your servant; Give me understanding, That I may know Your testimonies.
Institutional loyalty often demands more than normal commitment to righteousness can offer. The concept of absolute truth becomes subject to the doctrine of relativity, where the desire for promotion, recognition, and prosperity represents the trade-off target. ‎The Psalmist had to remind self of its absolute loyalty as the servant of the Lord, implying an expression of disloyalty to any contending master. There'll be no attraction to twist any statement of truth, when the heart is solely satisfied with the promises or precepts of God. His testimonies on the matters of life, family and ministries are often deeper than the expectations of surface relationship. Therefore, the understanding of God's purpose during apparent delay is sweeter than the excitement of twisted testimonies.

Peaceful Pathway

  “ Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all. ” II Thessalonians 3 : 16 NKJV Truth be told, the pursuit of righteousness is simply and straightforwardly the following of the right pathway, not necessarily the safe, the polite, and the popular pathway. Little wonder Martin Luther King once said, ‘On some positions, Cowardice asks the question, “ Is it safe?” Expediency asks the question, “ Is it polite?” And Vanity comes along and asks the question, “ Is it popular? ” But Conscience asks the question, “ Is it right? ”’. Unfortunately, finding the right pathway is not up to philosophers, psychologists, and politicians in our world, to whom there is no such thing as absolute truth. Wrangled Way

  “ Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways. ” Psalms 119 : 1 - 3 NKJV There is no doubt that those who abuse the grace of God have little or no understanding of the concept of the narrow way. For  “ Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it ” ( Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭14‬).  The narrow way cannot be widened because it is not only strait , it is extremely wrangled.
