Free Loyalty

"Not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men". (Ephesians 6:6-7 NKJV)
Loyalty can be obtained either at a gun-point or a gift-point. The only problem is that the giver of such forced loyalty knows that the receiver does not naturally merit the loyalty, all things being equal. To forfeit personal opinion to another fellow's conviction on the basis of his superiority, and without ill-feeling, is uncommon and unhealthy. Unfortunately, a bondservant's freedom of expression is expectedly traded for a definite protection. Even in bond service scenario, free loyalty frees the mind from extra-service penalty. Free loyalty to the invisible God without which it would be impossible to trust and obey His commandments.
