Social Assistance

Eligibility for social assistance has been under microscopic review in nations of the world, where the institution of subsidies like child-care, senior-care, disability-care, and employment insurance exist (unfortunately, this system of care do not exist in some parts of the world). Even where these considerations exist, distribution of social assistance based on equality leads to mismanagement of resources in every institution. The recipients of social assistance are not liabilities who are subjects of favour; they worth more than the assistance, if the model adopted is consistent with the scriptures, as laid down before Pastor Timothy. In his case, widows indeed (considerations are based on age, family structure, and faithfulness) are only eligible for church assistance. If the same biblical injuncture is followed, relationship with those in needs will strengthen the unity in homes, churches, and societies.

How many homes and assemblies today have mismanaged their conflicts and disagreements, based on unscriptural distribution of resources? Provision of assistance for eligibible parties is an obligation, with grave consequence if defied. The blessing of the Lord will abound unto all who understand the reason why the distribution of resources is part of their present portofolios.

Peaceful Pathway

  “ Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all. ” II Thessalonians 3 : 16 NKJV Truth be told, the pursuit of righteousness is simply and straightforwardly the following of the right pathway, not necessarily the safe, the polite, and the popular pathway. Wrangled Way

  “ Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways. ” Psalms 119 : 1 - 3 NKJV There is no doubt that those who abuse the grace of God have little or no understanding of the concept of the narrow way. For  “ Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it ” ( Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭14‬).  The narrow way cannot be widened because it is not only strait , it is extremely wrangled.
